Certified Quality Management
The quality of our products and services is the basis of our success. Quality is a key issue within the PFEIFER group.
Certification acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001
Since 1995 we are certified acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001 and we fullfill all requirements according to DIN EN ISO 9001. The effectivness of our Quality Management System and conformance with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 are checked regularly by an independent, external authority.
Certification acc. to BS OHSAS 18001
Since December 2011 we have been certified acc. to BS OHSAS 18001.
With the introduction and certification we would like to decrease the numbers of accidents by systemising all our activities relating to safety at work and protection of health. Moreover, we want to gain legal certainty by keeping consistently to all the relevant legal prescriptions. Furthermore, we would like to win the identification and motivation of our employees by integrating the executive personnel into the procedures of safety at work and protection of health.
We regard implementing a national standard relating to safety at work and protection of health with the certification by an external authority as a synergy effect to our products.
Certificate for manufacture qualification welding of steel constructions acc. to DIN 18800-7:2000-09 class E and qualification welding of reinforcing steel acc. to DIN 4099
Welding engineers and authorised welders in accor-dance with EN 287 are experts in all the different welding methods.
Certification in accordance with EN 10204
In our pre-stressing tunnel with a length of 240 m and a hydraulically operated pre-stressing machine with a capacity of 6000 kN and 3 m of piston travel we are able to perform rupture, elasticity and proof-loading tests on cables for use in our cable structures.
The machine, which falls into the accuracy class 1 as defined by DIN EN 100002-2, is checked once a year by an independent authority. Product-specific testing is performed and certified by an independent authority, too.
Test technicians in accordance with EN 473
Our mobile test technicians are specially trained skilled technicians and testers in accordance with EN 473. They cover the full spectrum of approved tests, with all sight-, tolerance-, load-, magnetic- and function testing.
